IP Flex T1 is part of the Verizon Voice over IP (VoIP) portfolio and is specifically designed for small businesses that are looking for a cost-effective way to carry voice and data over the same connection and require only standard voice telephony features.
Because this service works with existing analog Key Telephone systems, there is typically no need for additional investment in costly infrastructure or desktop equipment. And, to address voice needs, IP Flexible T1 customers benefit from the Local and Long Distance combination package for one low monthly price.
IP Flex T1 combines voice and data traffic onto a single network, enabling customers to manage networks more efficiently and leverage leading-edge business applications
It also provides productivity-enhancing products that are interoperable and address a range of size and infrastructure needs while preparing for the next generation of technology
Because the customer retains their existing Key Telephone system and telephones, this means:
- No additional desktop or Key system equipment is required for most customers.
- There is little or no disruption to services because there is no equipment changeover.
- There is no need to retrain employees on basic calling features or functions.
- Customers can migrate to more robust Verizon VoIP services at their own pace.
- Familiar features and provisioning processes enable a seamless migration to VoIP.
